The shave is quiet and gives no irritation. The 8985 is easy to maneuver and the cleaning system is a great feature to use. However, many people have commented on the cost of the replacement cleaning cartridges, which are a little bit pricey. Because they have a high alcohol content, the solution will evaporate. However, some reviewers have come up with a great tip: To save yourself some money on the cleaning solution, you can simply save the cap of the cleaning cartridge and re-cap the cartridge between cleanings, extending the life of the cartridge by up to several months!
