The Braun 360 Complete 8985 uses the patented Power-Comb™ technology which lifts the hair off the skin, avoiding to miss hairs in the areas harder to shave. The ultra sharp Gillette blade technology and the Multiple-Stage Cutting System will cut the hair close without pulling, leaving you with a smoother and longer lasting shave. The SmartFoil capture the odd hair that grow in different directions, hence allowing to shave with fewer strokes. For more comfort, the Contour-Hugging Head automatically adjusts with the contour of the face. For more convenience, the Braun 360 Complete 8985 also features a Clean & Renew™ System, which will automatically cleans the head of the shaver. The solution also contains lubricant agents, that will keep your blades in working condition longer. The active head or micro-oscillations gives allows a smoother glide along more sensitive areas like the neck. The Braun 360 Complete 8985 has an ergonomic shape and features a non-slip handle, making it easier to handle. This Braun electric shaver is cordless and comes with a charging base and an LED light indicator that reminds you when to replace parts or charge the device. While a full charge take about an hour and will last you up to 50 minutes of use. But if you are in a hurry, this Braun electric razor also features a quick charge in 3 minutes good for one shave. The Braun 360 Complete 8985 uses two types of voltage 100V-240V, therefore can be used internationally.

Braun electric shavers are very popular, and the Braun 360° Complete 8985 and the slightly more sophisticated version 8995 are two very popular choices. According to many reviewers, the 8985 is a good electric shaver which give a very adequate and close shave, comparable to that of other electric razors in the same price range. The shave is quiet and gives no irritation. The 8985 is easy to maneuver and the cleaning system is a great feature to use. However, many people have commented on the cost of the replacement cleaning cartridges, which are a little bit pricey. Because they have a high alcohol content, the solution will evaporate. However, some reviewers have come up with a great tip: To save yourself some money on the cleaning solution, you can simply save the cap of the cleaning cartridge and re-cap the cartridge between cleanings, extending the life of the cartridge by up to several months!
